PE 145A - Dance Fitness: Beginning

Skills Advisories: Eligibility for ENG 98 and 103.

Dance-based fitness class utilizing a variety of music and dance rhythms to promote cardiorespiratory fitness. Incorporates cardiovascular exercise, muscular endurance, balance and flexibility. Students engage in continuous dance to improve cardiovascular fitness while learning basic steps from merengue, salsa, cha-cha-cha, mambo, cumbia, reggaeton, hip-hop and others.
